Oxford College of Marketing

The brief: As a tutor for Oxford College of Marketing, I teach new marketers studying for Chartered Institute of Marketing qualifications, alongside apprentices across multiple levels.

The work: I guide learners through marketing theory, tools, metrics and assignments, creating a supportive environment where they can ask questions and build confidence.

The outcome: Learners gain the understanding, encouragement and practical knowledge they need to progress successfully through their qualifications.

“I had the pleasure of meeting Sheryl while pursuing my CIM Marketing qualification. Over the course of almost a year, we met virtually once a week, and she was absolutely brilliant. Sheryl guided me through complex marketing tools, metrics, matrices, and more, always ensuring I understood each concept thoroughly.
Sheryl created a comfortable learning environment where I felt at ease asking any question. Her patience and ability to explain things in different ways or contexts were invaluable as sometimes it took a few goes! Whenever I struggled or fell behind, Sheryl provided support, guidance, and positive, genuine feedback that helped me believe in myself and stay motivated. Thanks to her, I achieved a distinction in the course.
Sheryl’s knowledge and experience in marketing are unparalleled. She adeptly addressed the diverse assignments and topics of each student, consistently applying her expertise to our specific questions with a smile and a calm demeanour – there was no questions about the topic that she was not able to answer. Her ability to manage it all was truly mind-blowing.”
